Mark is a tax specialist who provides advice to a diverse range of small to medium sized clients on a wide array of tax matters including, amongst others, capital gains tax, trust taxation issues and company taxation including Division 7A.

He has over 36 years’ experience in the profession having held senior roles in chartered accounting, industry and the professional bodies including CPA Australia where he was formerly the Senior Tax Counsel.

Mark is the Co-chair of the ATO’s Tax Profession Digital Implementation Group which is charged with the on-going digital transformation of interactions between the ATO and its strategic intermediaries, and is a member of the Tax Practitioners Stewardship Group being the peak ATO consultative forum dealing with tax administration matters.

He is also a Deputy Chair of CPA Australia’s Victorian Public Practice Committee.    

Mark has degrees in Law and Commerce from Melbourne University, and is a registered tax agent.  He is also a CPA Australia public practitioner, a member of the Tax Institute of Australia and has been admitted to practice as a Solicitor in Victoria.
